“Castelli aperti” this year officially opens on 21st April. The project, which provides the openings, from April to October, of about seventy places among historical manors, museums, palaces, gardens and towers, has been able to achieve fame and respect at regional and international level, becoming a point of reference for tourists and for the piedmontese cultural and architectural heritage lovers.

The 2019 edition has been enriched, in fact, in the Cuneo province, for the first time, Castelli Aperti includes also the medieval castle of Niella Tanaro.

2019 marks also a new collaboration between Castelli Aperti and the Barolo Castle Foundation, with the aim to promote the beautiful manors located in the Langhe: the castle of Roddi, the one of Serralunga and the municipal castle Falletti, which is the seat of WiMu: the Wine Museum in Barolo.

On 26th May there will be held, for the second time, the “Open Castles Day” and all the places included in the “Castelli Aperti” list will be open offering guided tours and events. This event will take place weekly, every Sunday, until 1st November.

For all the visitors who’d like to stay in one of these historical manors, “Castelli Aperti” offers the possibility to organise a tailor-made vacation. You can choose among charming hotels, fine and noble rooms, elegant villas and apartaments spread among wonderful boroughs.
