Next week-end “Giorni Divini” lands in Canale

“Giorni Divini. The value of time” is a project created to promote a slow and unconventional approach to the wine culture, discovering the importance of quality time in a society which is increasingly frantic.

The event will take place in Canale in the prestigious location of the Castello Malabaila. The opening ceremony is scheduled on May 18th at 5 pm along with the inauguration of the Sedie “Giorni Divini” afore the mayor Enrico Faccenda, Alessandro Rivetto and  Massimo Rattalino (President of Winexperience), Carlo Vanoni (art critic, exhibition curator, author and theatre actor) and Sara Simeoni (athlete and gold medal at the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games).

Sunday 19th May you can join many different events: from 10.30 am to 12.30 you can attend the workshop “Il valore del tempo” during which artists, journalists, business men, Winexperience producers and athletes will talk about their experiences.

Special guest: Luca Gardini, World Champion of Mondo Sommelier. From 10,30 am to 4 pm visitors will attend an  “Giorni Divini. The value of time” is a project created to promote a slow and unconventional approach to the wine culture, discovering the importance of quality time in a society which is increasingly frantic.: a blindly wine tasting, with virtual reality glasses connected to a video that leads you directly in the middle of a vineyard or in the barrels in the cellar.

Tastings will be guided by the producers and by the sommeliers. From 10,30 am to 4 pm there will be present also the “Isole del tempo” and the Wineexperience tastings with special and seasonal local food pairings.

The event ends at 4 pm with a show by the Zelig comedian Flavio Oregio starring in “Storia degli Idropatici”.

Prices: 10 euros for food and wine tastings at the “Isole del tempo”; 15 euros for the augmented reality food and wine tastings at the “Isole del tempo”.
