According to the Slow Food philosophy , the Osteria constantly updates the menu following the seasonality and so the availability of fresh products. All products offered, included sweets and bread, are prepared following traditional and home methods, to maintain the authentic flavour of the Piedmont cuisine such as raw knife-cut meat, tajarin with white truffle, braised beef with Barbaresco and panna cotta.
The kitchen is under the lead of the chef Cristian assisted by Andrea, Jacopo and Denise. The room, with a magnificent coffered ceiling which dated back to 1600, can host up to 60 people and is managed by Sara, Emily, Daniela and Flo, who, with the supervision of Beppe and Gigi, guarantee the best hospitality and service, typical of the Cuneo province, to the costumers.
The sign bears “Cucina, Mescita e Asporto” and indicates a wide offer, made of home recipes prepared only with fresh products, according to the season, a list which counts about 500 selected wine labels for selling and tasting and a very good take-away service, which allows people to taste all the best traditional piedmontese recipes.
The Osteria della Chioccola is also a wine shop, where you can find bottles coming from all over the world, with an eye on the local wines: Barbera, Nebbiolo, Barolo and Dolcetto. The large offer allows people to find the perfect pairing for every recipe proposed by the chef and to buy only quality labels.
