The event will take place in the historical centre, in the Piazza Risorgimento area and in via Cavour; tastings from 5.30 pm to 11pm.
There will be many tasting tables and each one will be dedicated to a particular Piedmont grape in order to create a sort of local vines maps to appreciate the excellences of the region.
This first edition counts more than 30 vines: Arneis, Favorita, Erbaluce, Nascetta, Rossese bianco, Timorasso, Erbaluce, Caricalasino, Bian Ver, Malvasia moscata, Baratuciat, Moscato, Quagliano, Cari, Malvasia, Malvasia di Schierano, Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Pelaverga, Pelaverga piccolo, Freisa, Grignolino, Ruchè, Albarossa, Vespolina, Gamba di pernice, Neretto di San Giorgio, Uvalino, Croatina, Uva rara, Nebbiolo di Dronero. Many of these grape types will be presented in different labels. The rarest vines, which are often linked to a special researches and valorisation projects, will be enclosed in a special wine shop area.
This is an extraordinary occasion to try new and different products, tasting the charm of the Piedmont viticulture; all local excellences will come together for a day in the beautiful scenery of the central Piazza Duomo in Alba.
