The vineyard landscapes of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato, celebrate five years from the Unesco World Heritage recognition and do it in style.
The Enoteca Regional Piemontese Cavour manages all the castle activities, in collaboration with the Piedmont Region, the Ente Turismo Langhe Monferrato Roero, the association for the protection of the vineyards landscapes of Langhe-Roero and Monferrato and many other important local partners, which will liven up this great event, in a place, thhat of the castle of Grinzane Cavour, which is itself part of the Unesco heritage and which, for excellence, the symbol of the Langhe and Roero hills.
On Saturday 22nd June at 10 pm we will celebrate an event within an event, in fact, the Parco Culturale Langhe Roero Monferrato and Roero-Alba Music Festival will present the preview of the XIII edition of “Suoni dalle colline”, a special and magic journey among music and historical places, on a unique natural stage.
The Master Giuseppe Nova, will be at the lead of the artistic direction, the Orchestra Classica from Alessandria, which will perform in the garden of this historical manor playing “The four seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi, taken from the masterpiece “The trial of harmony and of invention”, with the solo violin Elisa Scudeller.
At the end of the concert, scheduled at 11 pm, the event will go on with a special celebration: first there will be the switching off the light beam, which, during the previous week, which has symbolically put the lights on the castle of Grinzane Cavour, and then there will be the cutting of the UNESCO cake, realised by the local cake masters and which will represent all the six Unesco area together, with their flavours and colours along with a toast with Asti Dolce Aocg and the sound of some of the most famous international songs of swing music.
From 9 pm, in the Enoteca Regionale Piemontese Cavour, tasting of the “Filiera corta nel Castello Unesco” products.
