Anima Festival: big names for the 2019 edition

The 2019 summer promises to be really crackling and intense on the stage of the Anfiteatro dell’Anima in Cervere.

In the spectacular setting among the Monviso and the Langhe, Paolo Conte will perform on his “50 Years of Azzurro” tour on July 5th. The lawyer-songwriter from Asti will celebrate the half-century of the his song, which has been brought to success by Adriano Celentano.

On July 10th the splendid  en plein air scenery will welcome Giorgia, with her “Pop heart summer night”, the summer tour that continues the “Pop heart tour”. The event will be the occasion to sing the greatest hits of Giorgia and listen for the first time in live version the songs taken from the cover album released at the end of November last year and already platinum.

July 11th – the only date in Northern Italy – there will be on the stage, the increasingly acclaimed Sicilian singer-songwriter Levante, one of the undisputed queens of the new Italian pop, an icon of natural and versatile style.

On July 16th it will be the turn of one of the most beloved songwriters of the Italian music scene: Antonello Venditti. He will  celebrate  in Cervere 40 years of “Sotto il segno dei pesci”, among the most significant albums in the history of Italian music.

The Roman singer-songwriter,  has already sold out all the tickets for the upcoming concerts, and he was highly acclaimed guest of the Sanremo Festival, where the public gave him a standing ovation. In Cervere he will be accompanied by his historical band, giving life to an intergenerational concert.

On July 20th, is scheduled one of the most awaited and spectacular events: The Seven Kingdoms Festival, with “The Great Barrier Concert”, inspired by the internationally successful “Game of Thrones” saga where the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra – composed of 80 elements – will present the soundtrack of “The Throne of Swords”.

Loreena McKennitt’s big event, on July 28th, will close the festival. The Canadian artist has chosen the Amphitheatre of the Soul for a stage of the “Lost Souls Tour”. The singer-songwriter, with Irish and Scottish origins, who influenced her music, draws inspiration from popular Celtic songs to which she adds an international touch, with a surprising result appreciated all over the world.
