For eight years the Emanuele Foundation of Mirafiore has been organising the Literary Walks in the “Woods of Thoughts” during the spring and summer, the last surviving wood of the lower Langa, the memory of a landscape that no longer exists, located in the wonderful enclave of the Bio natural Reserve of Fontanafredda.
The full calendar of events focuses on the high-voice and collective reading of the great novels that have marked the history of world costume and literature. A contemporary writer leads the way in reading and brings together the classics with the modernity of life.
Giuseppe Cederna
Giuseppe Cederna, theatre and film actor, is a tireless traveller and a great lover of literature and humanity. He will read, in six stages in the “Wood of Thoughts”, “The Sound of the Stream”, written by Sherwood Anderson.
For those who wish, after the planned walks in Fontanafredda it will be possible to stop for an aperitif at the Osteria DisGuido.
Admission is free upon mandatory reservation via the foundation website.
In case of bad weather the walk will take place in the historic Fontanafredda cellars.
