Art hills at the Parco Quarelli in Roccaverano

On 8th September will start the festival which will liven up the Langa: art and culture will be protagonists in a special meeting between sculpture, contemporary circus and food and wine excellences.

The project to enhance the Alta Langa – Valle Bormida will be presented during the third week of September, in Piazza Rossetti in Alba, during a dinner – show.

The wonder of an Art Park of international prestige, located among the majestic plants of a forest, in the Alta Langa, on the great hill that divides the two Bormida Valleys: Saturday 8th  September 2019, the Quarelli Park of Roccaverano will be the theatre, of the first edition of the “Colline d’arte” festival.

In a setting of green pastures and terraces, dotted with centuries-old farmhouses, in a dimension almost suspended in time, the festival will enliven the Alta Langa summer, making art and culture the absolute protagonists of the event.

The chosen formula is that of the encounter with the marvellous sculptures scattered over the entire area of the park (which covers an area of over 30 hectares), with dozens of prestigious installations of strong emotional impact, with the refinement of the culinary excellence that the long tradition of the territory can offer, further enriching the offer with an entertainment programme of the highest level, focused on contemporary circus performances.

Starting from late morning, local wineries  will present the best of their production in the food and wine and artistic walk called “Il Bello e il Buono” (the walk through the park is led by  historical, artistic and naturalistic guides), closing the day with dinner – show “Alta Langa in evening dress“. Both events will be enhanced by live concerts, musical entertainment, dance flash mobs and contemporary circus shows: the detailed programme of the festival will be presented in August.

Created by Marianna Giordano, a retired industrialist, the festival will be opened all day for free, so that the community can fully enjoy  the Quarelli park will be the undisputed protagonist of the Festival, conceived by the artistic director Aragorn Emrys Silvio jr Molinar.
