The Verduno festival is about to come back, this year, with more events and a new format, also for what concerns the part managed by the Verduno Pelaverga producers, who organise a prestigious dinner scheduled on Friday 6th September, hosted in the most beautiful place of the village: the Belvedere.
The Municipality Verduno, the producers and all the tourist and economic enterprises of the area invite you to a special lunch: “Verduno è Servito”, scheduled on Sunday 1st September, in every affiliated restaurants (event upon reservation), to taste the new vintage of Verduno Pelaverga served along with special local food pairings.
Moreover there will be held the local market with the local artisans and producers and all the wineries that joined “Cantine Aperte”, will be open to offer tastings, guided tours and wine selling to the visitors.
The 3rd September evening in the Belvedere area you will enjoy pizza and dances, while on Saturday 7th, in the same place, there will be the dinner under the stars with local cured meats, pork and chips, salad, local cheeses and cakes, everything will be served, obviously, with the wines produced in Verduno. Following musical evening with dancing.
On Thursday 5th September, in the late evening, is scheduled the “A passo libero” marathon, organised by the Associazione Verdunissimo and then dinner in the City Hall courtyard (event upon reservation).
Sunday 8th September at 8.30 pm, there will be the traditional and very suggestive the torchlight procession among the streets of the village to the church of the Madonnina. A very special moment, since the XIII century, really not to be missed.
The events do not end there, because the following weekend there will be the now traditional appointment with “Verduno Atelier“, an event dedicated entirely to art.
