The 89th Alba White Truffle International Fair has been presented today at the Cracco Restaurant in Milan. From October 5th to November 24th, the event will liven up the historical centre of Alba, a full programme of appointments and in-depth moments dedicated to gourmets and the most requested wine tourists. It will offer visitors the opportunity to get to discover, smell, touch and taste the symbols of Piedmontese culture through tastings, sensory experiences and workshops.

The leitmotif of this 89th edition starts from the exceptional combination of egg and white Alba truffle that together create the perfect balance of taste. In the Langhe Monferrato and Roero, the most important gastronomic district in Italy, the “lamellata di tartufo” represents the perfect link between the traditional table and the starred cuisine: an inevitable element and exceptional added value on the dishes of the territory.
In Milan, together with Maddalena Fossati Dondero, director of “La Cucina Italiana”, there were Liliana Allena President of the Alba International White Truffle Fair, Antonio Degiacomi, President of the National Center for Truffle Studies, Stefano Mosca, Director of the International White Truffle Fair of Alba, Emanuele Bolla deputy mayor of the City of Alba, and Umberto Griggi, General Secretary of the District of Montenapoleone.
