About…
Barbera.
The Regina Barbera d’Asti Docg Superiore is an expression of very old Barbera
vines that produce small and rare bunches but with a high concentration. Deep
and concentrated ruby is offered to the broad and intense nose with
suggestions of ripe fruit, black cherry and plum jam, refined aromas of dried
rose and violet, sweet oak veins and toasted and balsamic hints. In the mouth
it is elegant in every aspect with a good persistence. It is a wine that can
age in cellars for 10/15 years. Excellent with meat-based dishes and
medium-aged cheeses.
