Barbera d’Asti Docg Superiore “La Regina”

The recently built winery is located on the main road connecting Castagnole Monferrato with the city of Asti and is spread over 1000 square meters in 3 floors: in the basement there is the barrel room where the wines are refined in small oak barrels and at his side is the warehouse where the bottles are stored. The entire production is located on the ground floor, from winemaking to bottling, where high-tech machinery enables us to work the wines to the fullest without affecting their main characteristics. In fact, in the wines of Ferraris Agricola, it is possible to recognize the characteristics of typicality and cleanliness above all in the aromas. The tasting room, which can accommodate up to 30 people, has 2 large windows that allow a complete view of the entire cellar from above, so as to give maximum transparency.

About… Barbera.
The Regina Barbera d’Asti Docg Superiore is an expression of very old Barbera vines that produce small and rare bunches but with a high concentration. Deep and concentrated ruby is offered to the broad and intense nose with suggestions of ripe fruit, black cherry and plum jam, refined aromas of dried rose and violet, sweet oak veins and toasted and balsamic hints. In the mouth it is elegant in every aspect with a good persistence. It is a wine that can age in cellars for 10/15 years. Excellent with meat-based dishes and medium-aged cheeses.
