Identikit and main features
The garlic produced in Caraglio has a delicate taste to the good climate conditions of the terriotory. It is made of little white bulbs with purple-red stripes on the external tunic.

The area of production overlaps with the municipality of Caraglio.
History
The garlic of Caraglio has a very ancient tradition, in the past, it was cultivated in the vegetable gardens and in the vineyards for domestic use. Since 2003 its cultivation has improved and it is still increasing. In 2008 was founded the “Consorzio di Tutela e Promozione dell’Aglio di Caraglio”.
