Every year since the 2018 edition, the group of starred chefs has grown. In the Michelin Guide Italy 2020, ione of the most prestigious restaurants is Enrico Bartolini’s MUDEC.

In the Michelin Guide 2020, the restaurants that offer a cuisine that is “worth the trip”, and therefore Michelin, are:

Piazza Duomo in Alba (CN), Da Vittorio in Brusaporto (BG), Sant’Uberto, in San Cassiano (BZ), Le Calandre in Rubano (PD), Dal Pescatore in Canneto Sull’Oglio (MN), Osteria Francescana in Modena , Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence, La Pergola in Rome, Reale in Castel di Sangro (AQ), Mauro Uliassi in Senigallia (AN) and Enrico Bartolini at the MUDEC in Milan.

There are two new entries among the 35 restaurants that “deserve a detour”, and therefore Michelin.

La Madernassa, in Guarene in the province of Cuneo, run by the chef Michelangelo Mammoliti, was born in 1985. He proposes a cuisine that has become a milestone in the circuit of the great restaurants of the region. His recipes express rigor, technique and precision, but the soul derives from the Piedmontese tradition and local products, to which he adds seafood, exotic ingredients, Asian elements and the products he personally cultivates in the restaurant’s garden.
GLAM by Enrico Bartolini in Venice. With so much imagination he offers the best fish of the Rialto market. He reinterprets local recipes thanks to the inspiration of the chef Donato Ascani, who was born in 1987. His proposal is a solemn synthesis between creativity and instinct inspired daily by local ingredients with oriental touches and aromatic herbs from the lagoon.
