The visit will start from Castiglia and it will include the entrance to the church and convent of San Bernardino, founded in 1471 by the Marquis Ludovico I, who introduced the Franciscan Observance to Saluzzo. The route will then lead you to the church of San Giovanni, a place of representation of the Marquises and the seat of the Dominicans introduced by them in 1325, and to the current Palazzo del Municipio, originally the seat of the Jesuits. The visit will end in Piazzetta San Nicola, with the Church of the Confraternita della Misericordia, to learn more about the history and special events concerning the Confraternities of the city: the Black Cross, the Red Cross and the White Cross.
The meeting is at 2.30 pm at the ticket office in Castile. The cost of the visit is 5 euros per person, free for children under 12 accompanied.
