39th Fair of the White Truffle and the Wines of the Roero

From breakfast on November 17th to lunch on the 24th, a varied series of food and wine events enriches the 39th edition of the Vezza d’Alba Fair. Truffle and wines increasingly at the center of the program, of course, starting with the opening event on Friday 15, a fascinating night-time truffle search accompanied by a tasting of typical dishes.

The “Excellence of Roero”, the selection of the best local products, will once again animate the spaces set up in the treasure trove of Piazza San Martino on Sunday 17, while for the whole day there will be a refreshment point at the Exhibition Hall of Piazza San Bernardo where, early in the morning, the unprecedented “trifulau breakfast” will be served.

Tartufo is not only great cuisine but also great culture, and the topic will be declined in all its forms, from the literary to the landscape, in over twenty events including cinema, folklore, theater and historical re-enactments. From the literary contest “Di tartufo si WRITE”, which will involve the elementary and middle classes of the Roero schools at “Di tartufo si CORTE”, the bicycle tour on Sunday 24th which will have as its main stage the educational truffle of Vezza d’Alba and the vineyards breathtaking of Valmaggiore. At the same time, a walk to discover the natural environment, generating excellence and culture.

And again, cinematic events, historical re-enactments, theater.
