The installation was carried out by the Cuneo Social Assistance Consortium (CSAC), residence Mater Amabilis and Quadrifoglio Social Cooperative, under the patronage of the Municipality of Cuneo, following a search of images collected among the population.
The avenue was built in the mid-1700s at the behest of the governor Barone Leutrum, who defended Cuneo from the armies of the Gallo-Hispans, and over the centuries was a spectator of historical, personal and religious events of Cuneo and not.
“The exhibition has a double meaning: on the one hand it allows us to recover our History and on the other it is an opportunity to discover the Mater Amabilis complex with the wonderful chapel frescoed in the ‘400 by Biazaci” – commented Cristina Clerico, councilor for Culture.
The exposition of the snapshots of past centuries, which portray moments of everyday life, will be open until 6thJanuary, every day, from 3 to 6 pm.
