The Eataly Torino Lingotto thematic weekends continue and they are very useful occasions to discover the excellence of the territory and the season through experiences and guided tours, tastings and meetings with producers.
This weekend we expect two days dedicated to the Christmas sweet par excellence, the Panettone: events scheduled on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November.
The producers Galup and Muzzi Tommaso will offer tasting of their specialties, telling their history and quality.
Both Saturday and Sunday at 4pm there will be a special appointment: the toast with Galup! A suggestion for the perfect Christmas toast: the Panettone of the “Galup skier”, the Apple and Cinnamon Gran Galup coated with PGI Piedmont hazelnut icing, in which the sweetness and lightness of candied apples meet the enveloping and spicy scent of cinnamon.
The panettone will be served in combination with the Fior d’Arancio Colli Euganei Docg Quota 101, a sweet sparkling wine with citrus notes.
Free tasting for Eataly Lingotto customers.
On Saturday at 5 pm there will also be a preview of “Una Mole di Panettoni”, this event, that this year celebrates its 8th anniversary, returns from November 30th to December 1st at the Hotel Principi di Piemonte in Turin.
It will be an opportunity to experience the tradition of panettone as a Christmas dessert par excellence with the Masters of Taste of Turin:
Giovanni Dell’Agnese and Giovanni Scalenghe; PierLorenzo Venturi, Brand Ambassador of Muzzi Tommaso and Alberto Mossotto, Commercial and Marketing Director of Galup.
To follow, free tastings.
Finally, on Sunday at 3 pm the course for the little ones “Waiting for Christmas” is scheduled: an afternoon in the kitchen to make the perfect panettone for the winter holidays (€ 18 – reservations on www.eataly.it)
Two treats to experience the panettone in an original and tasty way!
