CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
Sunday, December
1st, from 3.30 pm, in Piazza Manfredi, a Christmas Children’s Market for
charity. Starting at 5.30 pm, in Via Roma, a Christmas lights ceremony with the
participation of the Arrigo Boito Philharmonic – City of Fossano.
Sunday, December 8th, 6 pm, Cussanio lights up, lights and Christmas tree lights up in the hamlet of Fossano. Lunch on reservation, Mass, distribution of sweet surprises.
EVENTS
On Sunday 8th December, in the Cathedral, the Exhibition of the nativity scenes and Christmas trees of the Fossano schools begins. In the afternoon, Christmas walk with stop points for the city streets. Arrival in Piazza 27 Marzo, 1861 (called “piazza delle uova”) for the lighting of the Christmas tree. Distribution of hot drinks and for the smallest rides on the Elven sleigh, the helpers of Santa Claus. In Piazza Manfredi, musical entertainment with the singer and imitator Pino Colucci, flashmob of dance and funny Christmas mascots for fun photo games.
Also on Sunday 8th December, from 2am to 6.30pm, at the Disabled Riding Center in Via della Cartiera, Living Nativity and Ancient Crafts. The ANA Group Choir of Cervere will perform.
Sunday, December 15th, in piazza 27 Marzo 1861 (called “piazza delle uova”), lunch with polenta and stew for everyone (euro 7, with glass of wine). In the afternoon Santa Claus arrives in his sleigh. Delivery of children’s letters and photos along with Santa Claus, ride on the Elven Sledge.
Sunday 22nd December, in the afternoon, in piazza 27 Marzo 1861 (called “piazza delle uova”), lots of music and distribution of hot drinks and Christmas cakes. For the smaller rounds on the Elven Sledge. During the afternoon, Prize-giving Exhibition of nativity scenes and Christmas trees.
Tuesday, December 24th, 11.15pm, Renaissance Living Nativity with readings and Christmas carols in the Cathedral.
MUSIC EVENTS
During the holiday season, the Fossano Musica Foundation proposes the Christmas
essays of its students. Many scheduled appointments, the calendar is available

Thursday 5th December, at 9pm, at the I Portici Theatre in Fossano, a concert show in favour of the local Avis The notes of the heart with Raffaella Buzzi and directed by Federica Faccaro. Saturday 21st December, at 21.00, at the church of the Capuchin Friars, 27th Winter Concert, traditional performance of the CAI choir Albino Bonavita. Guests the female choir La Ginestra of Savona and the La Cevitou choir of Monterosso Grana. Free admission.
Sunday, December 22nd, 5 pm, at the Church of Sant’Antonio Abate in Via Marconi in Fossano, Classical FFM Orchestra in concert. Conducts Master Julius Kalmar. Free admission.
ART AND CULTURE
From December 8th to January 6th, from
Monday to Friday, from 9am to 12pm and from 5pm to 7.30pm, and Saturday and
Sunday, from 9am to 12pm and from 2.30pm to 7.30pm, to the church of San
Giovanni in Borgo Vecchio, Art at Christmas, exhibition of works of art, and
Exhibition of Nativity scenes made by the artist Elsa Pinta. Free admission.

Saturday, December 14th, 3.30 pm, at the Unitre headquarters in via Salita al Castello, The painting of Christmas is music, colours and notes to penetrate the magical and authentic atmosphere of Christmas in the paintings. Presents Remigio Menarello.
Sunday 15th December, at the church of San Giovanni in Borgo Vecchio in Fossano, Local Craft Show. The stalls will be present all day starting at 9am. Free entry.

A FABULOUS AFTERNOON
Saturday 14th December, 4.15 pm, at the Castle of the Achaia, A Christmas of Tales. A storyteller welcomes children with its magical Christmas stories. From his large suitcase, books, stories, stories and a mysterious package that looks like a gift come out! For children aged 3 to 8 years.
SPORT AND FUN
Sunday 22nd December sixth edition of
the Fisherman’s Trail. There are two routes: a 10 km walk and a free family
