Last date for the “Sunday Concerts”

The Association “Amici della Musica” of Savigliano, in collaboration with the City of Savigliano (the Department of Culture) and the Council of Culture Promotion of the Territory, presented the 2019 edition of the “Sunday Concerts – Aperitifs in music”, which is has been held at Palazzo Taffini since the beginning of November.

The last appointment is scheduled at Palazzo Taffini at 10.50 am on Sunday, December 1st, with the recital for cello and piano with Tullio Zorzet on the cello and Helga Pisapia on the piano.

Since 1990 TULLIO ZORZET has been the first cello of the Orchestra of the Teatro Verdi in Trieste, where he played under the direction of important Masters such as Daniel Oren, Gary Bertini, Neville Marriner, Gustav Kuhn, Donato Renzetti and many others, participating in the tour made over the years by the Theater in Japan, Korea, Cyprus, Budapest. He completed his studies with Libero Lana, former cellist of the famous Trio di Trieste, and he won a scholarship, at a very young age, which allowed him to be a pupil of the famous cellist Rocco Filippini and of the famous violinist Angelo Stefanato for chamber music, at the “School of High Musical Improvement of Saluzzo ”. He has played solo roles with the Teatro Verdi Orchestra and in various Chamber Orchestras. He has performed the main chamber music works in string trio, piano trio, string quartet. In cello and piano duo he has held numerous concerts at Italian institutions including the renowned Ravello Festival, and then in Romania, Spain. He has also recorded for Rai, Radio Slovena in Ljubljana and in the recording industry for the label “Pizzicato” (music by Riccardo Fabris), for the German record company Antes (2 CDs with music by Astor Piazzolla), for Rainbow Classics ( Berkeley music). He has recently released a CD in duo with compositions for cello and piano by Robert Schumann.

From the Amalfi coast, HELGA PISAPIA completed her piano studies in 1993 with honours at the Conservatory of Salerno under the guidance of Maestro Giancarlo Cuciniello. She was later perfected her techniques with the M. Bertucci, A. Hintchev and M. Campanella students of the Neapolitan Piano School of M ° Vitale. She made her twenty-year debut at the Teatro “Verdi” in Salerno and later she played concerts in various Italian cities (Amalfi, Bergamo (Sala Piatti), Turin, Cosenza (Teatro Rendano), Ravello Festival (Villa Rufolo), Trieste (Castello di Miramare ). Abroad she played in Germany (Berlin and Munich), Spain (Alicante, Barcelona and Escala) and Romania (Bacau and Bucharest), France and Slovenia. She was the winner of national piano competitions both as soloist and for Chamber Music He recorded a CD dedicated to the works of R. Schumann for piano and cello with Tullio Zorzet, first cello of the “G. Verdi” symphonic opera theater in Trieste. In 2014 she recorded a Chopin Notturno for director Rodolfo Bisatti for the movie “The cruelty of the sea”, awarded in important Film Festivals. After classical maturity, she received the Diploma in Music Education at the Conservatory of Salerno in 1997 and the Specialization in Art, Music and Show he at the University of Trieste in 2003. She supports teaching and concerts and organises the International Chamber Music Festival “Concerts at the Castle” held in the most beautiful Castles of Friuli Venezia Giulia including the Miramare Castle of Trieste, the city where she has been living since 2001.
