Four weekends dedicated to shopping, to spend a nice day out with tasty lunches, roasted chestnuts and hot chocolate shows, concerts, flea markets, bright fountains, or even skate and visit a museum or listen to the concerts of the little musicians of the Suzuki music school or the great Masters from the APM School.

On Sunday 8th December a large market will animate the streets of the city from 9 am. Not just an occasion for Christmas shopping, but also a day full of events. The protagonists will be the artisans with tops and clothes for dolls made by hand, the “Intagliatori association” from Rivoli, the games of genius, the street artists to make adults and children smile. Animations and Santa Claus will enrich Via Palazzo di Città. To finish with a flourish, the “fires” return to Saluzzo with a fireworks display with light and colour effects. lights and scenic effects greet the day of shopping and invite you to stay in Saluzzo also for a dinner or an aperitif.
On Sunday, December 15th another market will be held, this time in Castellar, along the streets of the Scarecrow. The fun animations for children with the Mago Pongo, the stalls of handicrafts and local products and a nice novelty, the collaboration with Don Marco Casalis and the speakers of the Diocese of Saluzzo, who are already participating in the Carnival. Children will in fact be the protagonists of a living nativity scene starting from early afternoon. Around 4.30 pm, a right reward: a snack for all the little actors and a concert of folk music by the Violin Ensemble and Guitars by teachers Chiara and Sara Cesano and Dario Littera under the wing of Piazza del Municipio.
All day long Castellar and Saluzzo will be connected by a free shuttle bus promoted by Bus Company and Fondazione Amleto Bertoni starting from 9.30 am until 5.30 pm (Saluzzo – Piazza XX Settembre / Castellar – town entrance).
Meanwhile, in Saluzzo, the animations continue … “La Fabbrica dei suoni” will propose 2 workshops at the Magda Olivero Theater in the afternoon, entitled UN NATALE BESTIALE.
“Shut up, shut up, shh … let’s be quiet because this is a special night, something magical has certainly happened and you can feel a bit of agitation in the air … Let’s try to listen: all the animals want to talk. It seems like everyone wants to have a party, it almost seems like they want to sing ”. The protagonists of the story are the animals, animals that listen, dance and play to celebrate Christmas. This time the party is for everyone and allows children to get closer to the parameters of sound, playing with listening, voice, movement and instruments.

From 4 pm the Corale 3 Valli and the Corou La Cevitou will sing Christmas songs in the city centre, to conclude under the large tree in Piazza Cavour.
On Sunday 22nd December Saluzzo will close the calendar of events scheduled with Bandakadabra, the famous Marching Band from Turin, which participated at “X Factor”, which will offer its Christmas swing repertoire from 3.30 pm and then conclude with a final piece in the Cathedral square.
