This year’s prize for “Best Christmas Market in Europe” goes to Budapest with 39,448 votes, according to the annual ranking by the EBD European Best Destination (www.europeanbestdestination), a European organization based in Brussels and developed to promote culture and tourism in Europe, in collaboration with the participating tourist offices and the EDEN network. The survey was conducted on a panel of 289,000 voters in 116 countries worldwide.

In second place was the Christmas market in Vienna (with over 31,000 votes) followed by that of Gdansk (Polona) with over 31 thousand votes and Brussels (27,843 votes).
