Thursday 26th December, the visit to the Castle is enriched with curiosities regarding the Christmas holidays. The Racconigese residence was never visited in winter, but it certainly offers ideas for telling little-known anecdotes concerning the private life of the Royal family especially between the late ‘800 and early’ 900 when the parties were divided between public and private moments and the exchange of gifts was an expected ritual and a way for the Sovereigns to show their attention towards the people who stood beside them and towards the poorer social classes.
