To tell about those distant and mysterious events, the journey starts from the Civic Museum which mainly preserves works concerning the Annunciation with original variations. Walking through the city you will discover the oldest image of the Virgin preserved in Savigliano as well as the Archconfraternity of the Assumption where the shield of the Virgin did not help protect the beautiful church from a Christmas desecration. The visit will also include the Confraternity of the Pietà which recently houses a recently restored altarpiece dedicated to the Holy Family and the so-called Pantheon of Benefactors just set up in the chapel of the former Orphanage Institute. The path will end with a sweet surprise.
The tour is part of the “Taste us taste!” Initiative, an initiative promoted and financially supported by the ATL and sees the collaboration between the Local Tourism Agency of the Cuneo area, the Consortium of Tour Operators of the Province of Cuneo and the Coopculture Cooperative.
