It starts with the “Day of Remembrance” which sees Prof. Bruno Taricco talk about the Jewish communities of Cherasco and the area. The Jewish Community of Turin and the De Benedetti Foundation of Cherasco are present.
The following Thursday, February 13th, La Morra is home to the Resistance Institute of Cuneo which presents its latest publication “For a piece of land”. Some of the authors report on the rural world of the province of Cuneo in the twentieth century.
Thursday 21st the director Remo Schellino projects his documentary entitled: “The light inside. Storia di Armando “, Cerro d’argento award at the Cerro Veronese Filmfestival in 2006. It tells the story of Armando Sereno, an elderly shepherd who lives isolated at the foot of Mount Antoroto, in Valdinferno, a hamlet of Garessio. Returning from the Russian campaign, Armando never left his home on the edge of the forest.
It ends on February 27th with an evening dedicated to the serious problem of Alzheimer’s, a disease that affects our elderly. The Alzheimer’s Association of Liguria will be present in the persons of the president and vice, Messrs. Giampaolo Cassinari and Aldo Repetto.
