The 2020 of the Friends of the Museums of Bra opens with two initiatives in the name of art and culture. In collaboration with the “Craveri” Civic Museum of Natural History, guided visits to two major exhibitions are scheduled for members in good standing with the payment of the annual fee: “Andrea Mantegna. Reliving the ancient, building the modern “in Turin and” Divisionism. The revolution of light ”in Novara.
The visit to the exhibition dedicated to Mantegna, set up at Palazzo Madama, in Turin, is scheduled for Sunday 23rd February 2020. The review presents the artistic journey of one of the most important artists of the Italian Renaissance, from the prodigious youth beginnings to the recognized role of artist of the Gonzaga court. It starts at 12.30 from Piazza Giolitti (Red Cross side), with a dedicated bus, and departure for the return around 18.30. The cost of the day, including round trip travel, guide and entrance to the exhibition is 30 euros (reduced to 16 euros for Piedmont Museum Pass holders, children under 6 years, journalists with a badge, tourist guides with a badge). The guided tour of the exhibition on Divisionism, set up at the Visconteo Sforzesco Castle in Novara, is scheduled for Sunday 15th March. Ordered in eight thematic sections, the exhibition consists of seventy works of great quality and beauty, from important museums and public institutions and from private collections. The departure is at 7 am from Piazza Giolitti (Red Cross side); entrance to the exhibition at 10, free lunch and departure for the return scheduled around 17.30. Cost: 30 euros (reduced to 16 euros for holders of the Piedmont Museums Subscription), including entrance, guide and transportation. Also in this case, the available places are limited: to participate, it is necessary to book by 6th February, by writing to craveri@comune.bra.cn.it or by calling office hours on 0172.412010.
For both proposals, payment must be made exclusively by bank transfer within 3 days of registration, under penalty of cancellation. The IBAN on which to make the payment is as follows: IT66B 06095 46044 000100110125 (in the name of the “Amici dei Musei” association). The transfer must indicate the reference reason “Mostra Mantegna” or “Mostra Divisionismo”. At the same time, payment can be made for the renewal of the 2020 membership fee (€ 20.00).
