Starting from 2.30 pm and for the whole afternoon, in addition to the animation in Piazza Manfredi, six masked groups for as many spectacular floats will parade in Via Roma, with official departure from Piazza Romanisio after the transfer section from Piazza Dompè, arrival in Viale Alpi and return.
Over 1,200 expected masks, a party based on confetti and streamers that will infect young and old.
Among the floats there are also two masked groups of the Fossanese: the Compagnia dei Festaioli, over 250 young people from Centallo, Fossano and surroundings; and La Ciurma del Carlevè, 150 boys from Fossano and Margarita. In addition to the parade on 15th February, a wagon will be present in Fossano on Tuesday 25th February, starting at 2.30 pm, for the exhibition in via Roma.
The Fossanese Carnival will also stop at the table. Two food and wine events scheduled.
On Saturday 15th February, the hamlet of Maddalene di Fossano offers an evening of celebrations with a traditional Piedmontese dinner, while the Pro Loco di Fossano proposes, for the evening of Saturday 22nd February, a special dinner with dancing evening. During the two events the most beautiful and original masks will be awarded.
