“Creation and development of services to tourists, also with a view to usability and accessibility for all: this is the title of the two Calls just published by the GAL Langhe Roero Leader, one dedicated to farms (which with a view to multifunctionality diversify into farmhouses and / or didactic farms) and the other to the micro-enterprises of the tourism sector, activated respectively on Measure 6, Under Measure 6.4, Operations 6.4.1 and 6.4.2 of the PSR 2014-2020 of the Piedmont Region, in line with the programmatic lines outlined by the PSL in the field of “sustainable rural tourism”.
Operators, based in the GAL area, who wish to expand their range of offers can apply, creating and developing new tourist services – other than overnight stays, restaurants, food and wine and food-wine – that allow tourists to get to know and experience the area; an invitation to creativity and the ability of our companies to make the most of local resources and opportunities – which are not lacking – with pleasant, innovative recreational, recreational or leisure activities aimed at extending the stay of tourists in the Langhe and Roero .
The creation of new services, or the enhancement of existing ones, will be financed in the field of outdoor tourism (cycling, cycle-hiking, equestrian tourism, trekking, hiking), wellness (swimming pools, saunas and hammams, fitness areas, paths indoor and outdoor life and well-being), experiential teaching (small demonstration workshops, tasting workshops, workshops and spaces equipped for educational activities, with the exception of tasting rooms), transport and mobility services (means for tourists, bicycles and luggage, refuelling points for means of transport with low environmental impact …), with particular attention to accessible tourism “for all” aimed at increasing the level of usability of tourist services by people in difficulty or with specific needs.
In order to strengthen relations between businesses and dialogue with the territory and its operators, also to encourage the development of the entire GAL area as a tourist destination in a unitary and systemic perspective, the fundamental characteristic of the services offered must be the their inclusion in networks or circuits, existing or established territorial promotional and / or marketing itineraries (eg Roads, Routes, Product Clubs, etc.) or adherence to commercial agreements with local tourism operators (consortia, tour operators, others operators in the supply chain operating in the marketing phase) who envisage the promotion or sale of the service.
The resources available for carrying out the interventions amount to a contribution of 200 thousand euros for the micro-enterprises sector and 300 thousand for farms, corresponding to investments of 500 thousand and 750 thousand euros respectively, for a total of 1 million and 250 thousand euros.
Applications for support – to be submitted by the deadline of 22/04/2020 (2.00 pm electronically, 6.00 pm in paper form), in the manner and within the terms indicated on the dedicated Call – may include an amount of expenditure varying from one minimum of 10 thousand euro to a maximum of 50 thousand euro, on which a capital contribution of 40% will be recognized by the GAL. The beneficiaries will have to conclude the investments, pay the costs and report to the GAL within one year from the notification of admission to the loan.
