With two dedicated parking areas, the column has two 22 kW charging sockets and allows, for each hour of charging, to accumulate an additional range of up to 150 kilometres. It is possible to use the station through the Egea Green Mobility app. Egea customers, by registering with the app, will be able to choose to receive the final recharge directly on the bill relating to their consumption of electricity and gas, while occasional customers will be able to immediately pay the recharge, using a credit card or Paypal.
Presenting the first public charging station in the city were the mayor Gianni Fogliato, the councilor for sustainable mobility Massimo Borrelli, the managing director of Egea Pierpaolo Carini and the head of the renewable energy sector Massimo Cellino, as well as representatives of the municipal administration and other city realities.
