Free fruit and vegetables in the hospitals of Turin committed to dealing with the Coronavirus emergency, also with the commitment of the Turin Agro-Food Centre which has joined the #aiutiamochiciaiuta social campaign and the Slow Food appeal.
“We have taken action – explain the President and the General Director of the Caat, Marco Lazzarino and Gianluca Cornelio Meglio – to coordinate the supply and free distribution of agro-food products in favor of the medical and paramedical staff of the hospitals engaged on the front line in fighting this virus” .
The association of Apgo wholesalers and the Global Truck Logistic Consortium joined the initiative, for the free delivery of the donated products.
Og Now gave with fruit for the doctors and nurses of the Rivoli hospital at work to help patients affected by Covid-19.
In the next few days, the aim is to extend the delivery to the healthcare staff of the AmedeoSavoia in Turin, the San Luigi di Orbassano and the Sant’Anna of Turin.
The goal is also to get to the outdoor canteens that cook meals for the inpatients, giving them free fruit and vegetables to prepare lunches and dinners for the sick.
A commendable initiative, which wants to thank those who in this situation are truly dedicating themselves entirely.
Thank you! Even from us!
