We draw art becomes an online project to bring museums to the children’s home

As every year, the Museum “Abbonamento Musei! organises “We draw art”. The now traditional appointment during which younger visitors and their families visit and discover the museums of the area in a special way, designing the works, spaces and the architectures that characterise them, thus giving new forms and new colours to the museums of the area: a way to get to know and reinterpret the beauties of the regional cultural and artistic heritage.

The “Cav. G. Avena” museum complex in Chiusa di Pesio¬† joined this interesting event with great success for many years.

The appointment set for Saturday 28th March will be postponed to a date to be defined given the circumstances of the moment, but the project does not stop and becomes “We draw art … from home”.

In this period in which we are forced to stay at home, the “Abbonamento Musei” Association thought of involving children and families in a virtual project and so that “Draw art”  becomes an online project.

A small contest will be launched in the week of 23rd – 29th March calling on the children to draw the works, details and objects of the museums that most intrigue them, to create together a virtual gallery of their works. The project will be launched on the website www.abbonamentomusei.it, through newsletters and sponsored posts on social media. Participants will have to tag their drawings and share them on Facebook by Sunday 29th March, tagging “Abbonamento Musei” Association and using the hashtags #disegniamolarte #pigna #iorestoacasa #creoilmiomuseo.

The works will be collected in a gallery from the “Abbonamento Musei” Association: up for grabs, for the first two that will win the highest number of likes, a drawing set signed by Pigna, technical sponsor of the project.

The Avena Museum also adheres to this important initiative and invites children and their families to follow it on the Chiusa PesioTourist Office in Facebook page, proposing many ideas for small artists, to be drawn and coloured, giving life to their creativity.
