“Dear friends,
as we all expected, in light of the recent provisions and in the pre-eminent interest of safeguarding people’s health, it is inevitable to postpone the XI Award to the new dates which, we recall, will be on Friday 7th, Saturday 8rh and Sunday 9th May 2021.
Here are some brief notes for all the parties that, together with us, are involved in the rescheduling: the crews, sponsors, suppliers and all collaborators and administrations.
REGISTERED CREWS – for the great majority of the crews, whose registration has already been completed:
– unless otherwise indicated, the registration remains valid for the new date;
– we will notify the hotels of the cancellation for May 2020 and make new reservations for May 2021;
– we will resume contact with you in January 2021 for operating agreements; for any need before this date, please contact us.
CREWS IN REGISTRATION – for the few crews whose enrolment was being perfected when the emergency arose:
– the reservation remains valid for the new date, unless otherwise indicated;
– we will resume contact with you in January 2021 to complete the registration and on that occasion we will make hotel reservations for May 2021;
– for any requirement before this date, do not hesitate to contact us.
SPONSOR – for all those who have joined the XI Prize:
– your sponsorship will also be valid for 2021, without your additional charges;
– your sponsorship will be maintained in our communications and on the Prize website for two years instead of one: from May 2020 to May 2022;
– we ask those who have already received an invoice for the courtesy of making the payment; for invoices not yet issued due to the emergence of an emergency, unless otherwise indicated, we will delay the issue at the beginning of 2021.
ADMINISTRATIONS, SUPPLIERS AND COLLABORATORS – for all those who have offered their participation in the XI Prize:
– your appreciated collaboration remains confirmed on the new date of May 2021;
– the payments we have already made remain valid, as an advance on future services and must not be returned;
– we will resume individual contact with you for operational agreements.
