Barbera d’Asti Superiore “Gli Scaglioni”

On the trace drawn by the Founders, the goal of the Dezzani Company remains the harmonization of the values acquired with the ever-increasing needs of the market, where the consumer is more aware and attentive to the quality and origin of the product. The company philosophy, of which the oenologist Luigi Dezzani and his staff are interpreters, is reflected in the wines produced strongly linked to the territory, the climate, the variety of the vine, the harvest treatments and the personal interpretation of the person who signs the wine. Attention to quality is not an abstract concept, but tangible in the possibility of selecting the best Piedmontese grapes and producing wines at an excellent quality / price ratio.

About… Barbera.
The Scaglioni, takes its name from the particular conformation of the soil in “flakes” of tuff, where the vines of this exceptional Barbera grow. Always an icon of the Dezzani winery, this wine was born from the desire to create a long-lived Barbera, which can evolve and convey its unique taste in decades. In fact, the Barbera candidate to become Gli Scaglioni, is left to rest and refine for 4 years in large Slavonian oak barrels.
