The Cortocircuito Cultural Association is happy to announce that the call for the 5th Edition of Cortocircuito – Savigliano Film Festival has officially opened since May 1st.
The new edition will be divided into 2 sections:
–General Section, free topic. The short films entered cannot exceed 30 minutes in length and must have been produced after January 1st, 2018;
– “Comedian Rhapsody”: works with a maximum duration of 30 minutes produced after January 1st, 2018 inspired by the theme of the year motivated as follows.
“Thematic section aimed mainly at Comedy and Comedy.”
Short films that bring one or more facets of the human comedy carousel to the screen: from the “Joie de vivre” to the “Italian comedy”, passing through the figure of the clown. A necessary breath of air to get out of a gloomy period and find the light-heartedness of the circus and the kaleidoscope of the comedian, as happened in the bittersweet comedies of two friends and masters of post-war Italian cinema, Federico Fellini and Alberto Sordi, of whom in 2020 the centenary of the birth is celebrated.
The deadline, by which it will be possible to register for Cortocircuito – Savigliano Film Festival, is July 15th 2020.
To register your short film, you must complete the registration form on the website http://www.saviglianofilmfestival.com/site/index.php?id=9 and send your short film using the methods indicated in the registration form.
The participating short films will have the opportunity to compete in an international competition, which in its 4th edition attracted more than 650 works from 50 nations.
