Waiting to return to the usual role, in the autumn or as soon as possible, the Salone has worked on an extraordinary edition of the event dedicated to the victims of the virus, their relatives, the medical and paramedical staff who with self-denial and professionalism is saving many lives . A great moment of reflection and meeting, dedicated to the future of all of us.
From Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th May, on the Salone website and on social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) it will be possible to follow a rich program of live streaming events and interact with national and international guests who responded to the appeal launched by the working group of the Salone.
When the title of the 33rd edition, “Other forms of life”, was chosen months ago, the goal was to evoke the near future. Today this title proves to be a small prophecy. We are really living “life forms” that until a few months ago we could not have imagined. With this extraordinary edition, an online activity path will start that will accompany the great community of the Salone, publishers and readers, to the autumn edition: editorial presentations, columns of cultural study, and new formats for the digital story of the Salone and its projects.
It starts on Thursday 14th May with a lecture by Alessandro Barbero in connection with the Mole Antonelliana in Turin.
