On Friday 15th May – 6.30pm Resistance Cinema
After tales and reflections on the restaurant sector and on the world of theater and live entertainment, the next meeting will be dedicated to cinema.
On Friday 15th May, at 6.30 pm, Paola Farinetti and the Vladimir Luxuria Foundation, from 2019 Artistic Director of the Lovers Film Festival, and Steve della Casa, film critic and journalist, among the founders of the Torino Film Festival (of which he was also artistic director), was President of the Torino Piemonte Film Commission and is a historic conductor of the Hollywood Party, the daily appointment with the cinema of Radio3.
With them it will be interesting to talk about cinema in the Covid-19 time, starting also from the experience of Lovers, the International Film Festival with homosexual themes, which due to the health emergency had to postpone its XXXV edition to October. The Lovers, however, did not resign themselves and moved online, offering from 30th April to 4th May a review of films, documentaries and short films that were free and visible to everyone and which had a great success. As for the live show, even the world of cinema was one of the first to stop and will be among the last to start again: it will be a moment to think about possible solutions and future horizons of a sector to be saved.
