The evolution: from the paper to the website
Idea Tourism was born in 1998 as a section of the IDEA magazine (the weekly review about the Cuneo province). In the past it was delivered exclusively beyond the Italian borders with the aim of spread information about the artistic, cultural and food and wine heritage of the province of Cuneo.
The new format of Idea Tourism has changed, but it has still the same mission; the magazine doubles and becomes both online newspaper (about the south Piedmont) and monthly magazine and both format are available in Italian and English. Moreover it will be possible to download a dedicated App, which make easier to the readers be constantly updated about news and upcoming events in the whole province, besides providing able to have information about places, monuments, castles etc..
The online newspaper offers real time information about news and events about tourism in the “Granda” province. The magazine will deepen all these themes to better enhance the territory, not only describing local products, history, artistic and cultural heritage, but also talking about the men who have created the excellences of our land, hoping to make southern Piedmont famous all around the world.
This website is a real showcase for the local tourist attractions and i twill be available for Italian and in particular foreign users, in fact today Idea Tourism reaches 30 countries and boasts of half million users, because it is easy to use and above all because it offers quality information thanks to years of experience in this sector.
