The Langhe area is a tourist paradise for food, but mostly for its wine culture, in fact, every year, many wine lovers come here to visit cellars and wine shops, taste and buy prestigious Barolo and Barbaresco labels.
This area is little know, but it is very interesting to explore. Its hills are included in the UNESCo World Heritage. On the left side of the Tanaro river, characterised by the “Rocche”, there are many nice villages, such as Guarene, Castellinaldo, Priocca, Magliano, Govone…This territory is rich of high-quality food products, in particular for what concerns fruits and vegetables. The wine production, above all the one of Roero and Roero Arneis, is a fundamental part of the life and culture of the Roero area.
The magic of the Alta Langa
The little known and wildest part of the Langhe includes the municipalities of Dogliani, Bossolasco, Serravalle Langhe, Roddino, Belvedere Langhe, Murazzano, ecc, and it is called Alta Langa; it is the native land of the famous PGI Hazelnut. Here you can see breath-taking landscapes and taste delicious cheeses.
