This year, the event reaches its edition eleventh and confirms the attractiveness of such exceptional names in music and culture. And the village of Barolo … will be literally invaded.

The Collisioni festival on its eleventh edition, it’s a compilation of different artistic genres, a cultural mix tape with different audience that come together to contemplate the complexity of the world from the perspective of a small hill town.

The frame of the festival, as always, is the town of Barolo, the temple of Italian wine, immersed in the magnificent landscape of the Piedmontese Langhe Unesco heritage, a natural stage to host music, meetings, dialogues with Literature Nobel Prize winners, stars of the Italian and international music, protagonists of the contemporary cinema scene, but also performances by street artists, tastings of the most excellent wines and agricultural products on the national scene and three different  stages dedicated to emerging music

Eddie Vedder inaugurated the festival on the stage in the red square, on July 4th. Liam Gallagher will perform on Friday July 5th, Carl Brave and Max Gazzè with Rkomi and Daniele Silvestri will follow on Saturday 6 th in Maneskin and Salmo. On Sunday 7th there will be the Thirty Seconds To Mars, while on Wednesday 10th Macklemore, Saturday 13th Calcutta and Tuesday 16th  Thom Yorke.

Thus, Barolo will become, once again, the centre of the musical, artistic and cultural world with a series of meetings that are truly significant.

On Saturday 6th July, in the blue square, it will be possible to listen to Mauro Corona, who will present his latest novel “Nel muro”, accompanied by the musician Omar Pedrini; and then Samuele Bersani, Daniele Silvestri, Giorgio Panariello author of the novel “Adesso tu”, Simona Ventura, John Irving, a monument to American literature, Vittorio Sgarbi with his latest work “Il Novecento” and the sophisticated performer of light music, Ornella Vanoni.

The piazza rosa, on the other hand, will host Lazza, Rkomi, Gabriella Pession, Enrico Mentana who will occasionally give a lecture on art of journalism; and Diodato; Emanuel Carrere; Ezio Greggio; Lodovica Comello; Claudio Magris.

In the green square there will be Il Volo, Carl Brave, Maurizio Carucci, front man of the “Ex-Otago”, Paola Turci, Gino Strada with “Smemoranda”, Loredana Bertè and The jackal.

Sunday 7th July, instead, in the blue square: Massimo Giletti will present “Le dannate”, his latest book dedicated to the Naples sisters, courageous women who did not surrender to the Mafia. There will be present also Roberto Saviano, Jonathan Coe, world-famous writer, now considered a classic of contemporary literature; Luca Argentero who will return here to tell the public of the Festival his experience along with the non-profit association 1caffe.org,  which he has been vice-president since 2012; Chuck Palahniur, cult author of American literature, considered one of the top ten writers in the world; Milly Carlucci; Ambra Angiolini and Marco Travaglio. In piazza rosa you can hear Selvaggia Lucarelli; Francesca Reggiani; Beppe Severgnini; Nina Zilli; Valerio Massimo Manfredi; Ghemon; Frankie Hi Nrg. In the green square will feature Stefano Accorsi; Selton; Alessandro Cattelan; Annalisa and Mahmood, who in addition to meeting her fans and will tell his dazzling musical career, from Sanremo Giovani to the podium in Europe and they will also perform in concert.
