The new edition of “Le chiamiAmo chiocciole” will take place in Cherasco from Friday 27th to Monday 30th September, this event includes the 48th International Meeting for Heliciculture and the 14th Festival of SNAILS in the KITCHEN.

Four days entirely dedicated to the world of snail and everything that revolves around this fantastic animal: training, conferences, field visits and testimonials, haute cuisine, cosmetics, education and much more.

THE SUNDAY CONFERENCE: CIRCULAR HELICICULTURE

The annual Technical Conference dedicated to the sector, which takes place on Sunday 29TH September 2019 from 10 to 12.30 at the PALACHIOCCIOLA (P.zza degli Alpini), is a unique opportunity to understand all the dynamics that develop in the perimeter of heliculture. The technical aspects will be illustrated by qualified speakers in a multidisciplinary perspective, investigating issues related to agronomy and animal husbandry, but also to  nutritional properties, snail slime and its many applications, the food market and of cosmetics, educational projects for children and training courses for adults.

An important space will be dedicated to the theme of environmental sustainability and how heliculture knows how to enhance the principles of the Circular Economy.

The experiences of the snail breeders will offer a fundamental and first-hand contribution, very useful to have the most genuine perspective and to develop a complete impression on the world of heliculture.

14th Festival of SNAILS in the KITCHEN

Along with the 48th International Heliciculture Meeting, the 14th Snail Festival in the Kitchen will take place.

From Friday 27th to Monday 30th September, four days of haute cuisine to discover the snail as gourmet food! Meals throughout the event will be served at the gastronomic pavilion in P.zza degli Alpini, at 12.30 and 8pm.
