This successful and participated sporting event in the city of Alba, since 2008, is included in the official calendar of the Truffle Fair.
The non-competitive race is an awaited event, a must for the many fans and families in the Alba area and also includes a walk to raise funds for the adoption of a room in the New Hospital Alba Bra.
A preview for the boys is scheduled: a short tour and then the start on a beautiful path in the heart of the city and through its tree-lined avenues, 8 km long (and reduced 4.5 km). The arrival, as usual, is in the heart of the city, in PIAZZA DEL DUOMO, where the participants are welcomed and refreshed. On Saturday afternoon will take place “Aspettando Corri sotto le torri Alba nel cuore”, entertainment and registration point.
Meeting point and Departure:
The participants will meet in Piazza Garibaldi from 8.30am.
At 9.40 start of the Corri sotto le torri Junior race (up to 14 years, 2005 included)
At 10 am start of the Corri sotto le torri Adult race
At 10.01 am start of the Alba nel cuore walk, at the end of the race
Registration:
The fee is € 8.00 (pre-sale at the accredited points and until 13th September) and is redeemed with two Conad discount vouchers of € 5.00 each.

On Saturday afternoon 14th September in Piazza del Duomo and on Sunday morning 15th September in Piazza Garibaldi at the start, from 8.30 am, the fee is increased to 10.00 €
Up to 14 years, Corri sotto le torri Alba nel cuore Junior is free. For each participant who will register, a beautiful “Joy of moving” t-shirt will be delivered at the start of Piazza Garibaldi (subject to availability).
Corri sotto le torri Dog:
It is also possible to run with your dog, which will receive a rich food tender packet Morando at the arrival in Piazza del Duomo and together with the numbered bib a very useful collar. On the arrival stage in Piazza Duomo, super prizes by lot for a total of 30 kg of product. The registration fee for the dog is € 3.00. The dog owner must register too.
Grand Prix of the Alba districts
With goliardic spirit, as often happens in the representations of the Giostra delle Cento Torri, the Borghi Albesi will compete for a place in the Gold Roll and a coveted prize consisting of 100 bottles of wine for the winner, 36 for the second position and 24 for the third. Participants must declare themselves at the start in number of two per village and above all must wear the shirt with the colours and the symbol of their district.
Paths:
Run under the towers Junior race: Departure and arrival in Piazza Garibaldi, Via Cavour with a tour around the Duomo, Via Manzoni and Piazza Cagnasso, KM. 1 approx.
Run under the towers Adult race: Traditional route of 8 km. departing from Piazza Garibaldi and arriving in Piazza del Duomo.
Alba nel cuore (walk): Route of 8 km, same path as the race, or you can return on arrival once you reach Piazza Michele Ferrero (coming from via Alfieri) entering via Maestra (Vittorio Emanuele) Km 4.5 approx.
Gadget 2019:
Participants in the Race and the Walk, when collecting the bib will receive 2 Conad discount vouchers of € 5.00. each, as a reimbursement for the registration. Participants at the end of the race, will receive also a beautiful running technique top, presenting their race number in Piazza del Duomo (until stocks are exhausted).
Moreover, at the gazebo point equipped for the check of the bib, on the finish line, there will be waiting for them the prize of a medal and the traditional refreshment with Valfrutta fruits and Battaglio bananas, etc.

Water supply along the route (Piazza Ferrero / side via Alfieri (Borgo Patin and Tesor), Corso Enotria Casa Piccoli (districts: Santa Rosalia, Moretta and Santa Barbara), Corso Piave (Borgo del Fumo). Final refreshment in Piazza del Duomo with Fresh fruit and drinks (Borgo Brichet and Apro Hotel Academy).

Music, guests, sports testimonials and authorities, costumed figures, flag-wavers, gymnasts, live radio, various exhibitions and surprises.

The proceeds of the Alba Walk in the heart is donated to the project Adopt a room of the new Alba Bra Hospital in Verduno, whose fundraiser of these years, to date has already reached the amount of €. 15,150.00.
