The Truffle Fair is not only food and wine, but also art and culture. There are numerous side events dedicated to exhibitions throughout the event.

PER UN RINNOVAMENTO IMMAGINISTA DEL MONDO

Pellizza da Volpedo (Taner Ceylan), Pinot Gallizio (with Constant, Asger Jorn, Jan Kotik, Piero Simondo and Giorgio Gallizio), Mario Merz

The project presents works from the Collections of Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art, of the CRC Foundations and from private collections, together with selected archive materials from the Gallizio Archive of Turin.

LEONARDO DA VINCI. THE GENIUS

Exposition of the Lucanian table attributed to Leonardo da Vinci

The Tavola Lucana, also called Portrait of Acerenza, from the place where it was discovered, is a panel depicting a portrait of Leonardo da Vinci, found in 2009 and attributed to the master.

From November 18th to December 5th

NESPOLO INNO ALLA GIOIA

Opening October 25th

Ugo Nespolo’s beginnings in the Italian art scene date back to the 1960s, to Pop Art, to conceptual futures and poor people (exhibitions at the Galleria del Punto by Remo Pastori, in Turin, and Galleria Schwarz in Milan). Never tied in an absolute manner to a vein, its production is immediately characterized by a marked ironic, transgressive imprint, for a personal sense of fun that will always represent a sort of trademark.

MARIO LATTES UN ARTISTA POLIEDRICO

The exhibition, organised by the Bottari Lattes Foundation in collaboration with Famija Albèisa, intends to present to the Albanian public a selection of watercolours and mixed media works on paper by Mario Lattes (Turin, 1923-2001), flanked by oil paintings and engravings that well document the versatility of his talent and the different expressive forms he experimented with during his career as a painter, engraver, writer and publisher.

LA PENULTIMA CENA E ALTRE STORIE

Starting from different points of view and different experiences in the world of art, communication and design, Marco Tabasso, Tatiana Uzlova and Robert Andriessen have given life to Anotherview, a “borderline” project consisting of the creation of “digital nomad windows”, each of which tells a day of the life of a different place in the world. The penultimate Dinner / The Langhe Supper is a real window containing a 24-hour video filmed in October in the Langhe area.

LIFE. ISTANTANEE DI CALABRIA

Photographic exhibition by Raffaele Montepaone

Conceived as a side event at the 2019 Success Aging convention: Body and Mind Connection, in particular at the outreach day dedicated to memory, scheduled for Saturday 9 November 2019, the Life exhibition consists of two series of works: Faces and Hands. Faces and hands furrowed by the time and effort of the Calabrian centenarians, old inhabitants of abandoned countries who seem immersed in a memorable past.

ALBA. NEW LIGHTS ON THE PAST

The exhibition recounts the results of archaeological investigations carried out in Alba between 2008 and 2018 and updates the knowledge on the oldest phases of life in the city.
