Eight musical appointments liven up the Sundays of the International Fair of the White Truffle of Alba and represent a space of beauty and culture, dedicated to lovers of classical music, in one of the periods of greatest interest and attraction for the territory.

Music returns to an event of such great prestige and international appeal as the Fair of Alba. The CLASSICA programming, with chamber ensembles and first-level soloists, is aimed at the numerous enthusiasts who follow Alba Music Festival assiduously and at the same time completes the rich calendar of the city, offering, through the universal language of music, another attraction also for the growing international tourism that animates the territory.
The artistic programme reflects the international level of the event, we will find great soloists such as pianist Elisso Bolkvadze, UNESCO artist for peace in a Chopin and Debussy programme, cellist Alexander Hülshoff with pianist Joanna Przybylska with Brahms, Dvořák and Paganini Variations, then we will go from the integral of Mozart’s piano and string trio quartets with Andrea Bacchetti and the Maffei Quartet, to the Baroque with I Musici di San Giuliano, from the Trio Parsifal to the Guitalian Quartet guitar appointments, in a programme that also pays homage to Leonardo da Vinci, to the virtuoso Luigi Puddu, to the four-handed piano duo with Yves Robbe and Macha Makarevich with the famous Pictures of an Exhibition by Modest Musorgsky.

The response of the public, which in past editions filled the hall every Sunday, is a concrete demonstration of the value of the initiative and its reason for being.
Live entertainment and classical music in particular are a fundamental collective social experience of cohesion and involvement for an international audience. CLASSICA has managed to catalyse the favours of the public, critics and supporters, putting together an organic project that combines deep content and dissemination, local benefit and global visibility.
