Also this year the programme of the Fair is very rich, here’s what you can’t miss:

World Alba White Truffle Market

The historical heart of the event dedicated to the Tuber magnatum Pico will be the World Market of the White Truffle of Alba: an exhibition area located in the Cortile della Maddalena, in the historical centre; the perfect place to appreciate and buy the best truffles from the woods of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato.

The exhibition booths of AlbaQualità will offer an exhaustive and complete panorama of the gastronomic and wine quality of the area, with particular attention to the artisan productions of the territory with thousands of products for tasting and sale.

A specific area is dedicated to catering and tasting the great wines of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato. Here you can taste typical dishes prepared to accompany and enhance the aromas of the Alba White Truffle combined with an excellent glass of wine.


  • Every Saturday and Sunday of the Fair from 9.30am to 7.30pm

Entrance ticket to the Truffle Market and Albaqualità:

  • Full ticket: € 4.00
  • Ticket for groups over 30 people: € 3.50
  • Children and teenagers up to 15 years: free admission

Sensory analysis of the truffle

Workshop Room, Cortile della Maddalena, Alba

How do you choose a truffle? How is it best appreciated and how does its quality stand out? How is it preserved and what are the best ways to consume it? A series of workshops, held by a Sensory Analysis judge of the National Truffle Study Centre, will reveal the secrets of the most famous mushroom in the world among olfactory tastings, tests and practical tests.

Wine Tasting Experience ®

Workshop Room, Cortile della Maddalena, Alba

In collaboration with the Strada del Barolo and Grandi Vini di Langa, here is a new way to get closer to the knowledge of wines, an original tasting formula dedicated to the discovery of the extraordinary wine heritage of Langhe and Roero, among which stand out aged red wines, standard-bearer of Italian oenology in the world.

Fresh pasta workshop

Workshop Room, Cortile della Maddalena, Alba

Four extraordinary appointments signed by two exceptional masters such as Walter Ferretto (Il Cascinalenuovo di Isola d’Asti) and Ugo Alciati (Guido Restaurant Villa Contessa Rosa of Serralunga d’Alba) to learn the secrets of egg pasta dishes made in home, which find their perfect balance when combined with the White Truffle of Alba.

Saturday 12th and 19th October at 3pm. Saturday 2nd and 9th November at 3pm.

Olive oil tasting experience

Workshop Room, Cortile della Maddalena, Alba

In collaboration with Ismea – Institute of services for the agricultural market and red shrimp. How to taste 100% Italian olive oil? A moment of study and discovery led by experts in the field.

Kit for the Alba White truffle

With the involvement of Limoges, a French town famous in the world for its ceramics and, like Alba, part of the network of Unesco Creative Cities, in 2019 was born a project involving large companies in the realization of the “Truffle kit Bianco d’Alba”. It is in fact the prestigious Maison Raynaud, historic manufacturer of refined Limoges table services, who creates the “Pepita“, a precious object to reveal the perfume, aroma and freshness of the Alba White Truffle.

Designed by Mariela Schwarz Montiel, inspired by precious stones and the logo of the International White Truffle Fair, this refined porcelain container represents with its facets the perfect way to transport and offer the most extraordinary jewel of nature.

A sculptural and refined object, but at the same time functional and ergonomic, which together with the “Alba” slicer designed by Ben van Berkel for Alessi and the gloves designed by Patricia Urquiola, completes the offer of design objects, always functional and great quality, to preserve, touch and laminate the precious truffle.

The items will be on sale at the Sala Beppe Fenoglio inside the Alba White Truffle World Market.

The White Truffle of Alba is undoubtedly a precious and unique asset, a food with exceptional characteristics that, to be enjoyed at its best, must be handled and sliced ​​with the utmost care. Chef Davide Oldani started from this consideration when he imagined XFETTA: a truffle cutter that, as its name suggests and according to the idea of ​​Davide Oldani, guarantees the “perfect” sanding on every plate and every type of Truffle. Hence the choice of an expert partner in the production of this kind of products for five generations: Ambrogio Sanelli.

The deepening on the raw material, which lasted over two years, took place with the precious advice of the National Center for Truffle Studies and could only be the International White Truffle Fair of Alba, the undisputed temple of the Tuber magnatum Pico, the best place where present this new creature.

The Salon of Flavors and Perfumes through sensory experiences, workshops and educational itineraries, guides visitors on a journey focused on the different productions, raw materials and geographical indications that depart from the Langhe, Monferrato and Roero to reach the rest of the tasty Piedmont

Folklore and demonstrations in the square

The International White Truffle Fair of Alba is an unmissable moment of celebration in which the whole city takes part. A unique opportunity to discover the millenary culture of Alba through folkloristic events and historical re-enactments that involve and entertain visitors in a carousel of colours, flags, music and popular games.
