8th December 2019 – A Festival entirely dedicated to the legendary Bra’s Sausage, three starred chefs (Massimo Camia, Davide Palluda and Maurilio Garola) who will celebrate it by preparing dishes dedicated to it and a  historical train to reach Bra and the event from Turin.

It will happen in Bra on Sunday 8th December, on the occasion of “Bra’s – the Bra Sausage Festival”: a vintage train from the early twentieth century will leave at 9.00 am from the Turin Porta Nuova station and, after the intermediate stops in Turin Lingotto and Carmagnola, it will lead visitors to the Movicentro, right next to the train station, in the heart of the fair that will satisfy the most demanding palates.

The Bra’s festival will in fact see the fusion of the flagships of the food production of the city – the renowned sausage, the vegetables of the city gardens and the rice  – with the mastery of three starred chefs: Massimo Camia, from the restaurant of the same name in La Morra, Maurilio Garola, chef of the “Ciau del Tornavento” in Treiso, and Davide Palluda of the restaurant “All’Enoteca” in Canale.

They will have the task of conquering visitors through the recipes designed for the occasion, cooked live in a festive set-up Movicentro and offered to the public for 12 euros (in addition to the Bra’s cutting board that will allow you to taste sausage , PDO Bracheese and local focaccia for 6 euros).

But the festival will also offer much more: among the initiatives planned there are guided tours to the baroque beauties of the city,  open museums with free admissions, and tours to the Cantine Ascheri and special menus in the restaurants of Bra.

There are two proposals for visitors who choose to reach Bra by the vintage train: round-trip ticket 25 euros, or the package that includes the journey, a starred dish and a glass of wine at 35 euros. Free for children under four.
