The “New Antiche Volte restaurant” is born. It is the most delicious novelty among those arriving at Palazzo Righini di Fossano at the beginning of this 2020. In the suggestive space of the cellars of the Palace, between ancient bricks and ancient beams, in an environment renewed in style, starting from January 7th there will be space for a new dining dimension.
A simple and at the same time elegant service will be combined with a card focused on Piedmont, its specialties, its countless variations.
“The restaurant offer is evolving – explains Enrico Castellano, owner of Righini – to meet both the new tourism trends, increasingly looking for places to savor the typical traditions of the area, and the local request for a more accessible service, informal, where you can spend your free time or a business lunch tasting the highest quality raw materials “.
Antiche Volte, ten years after its birth, turns into a more “easy” place, with cheaper prices and a menu centred on the best Piedmontese tradition.
You can taste typical dishes such as ravioli al plin, gnocchetti al castelmagno, tajarin, veal tripe, Piedmontesefassona, typical desserts such as bunet, zabaione with meliga paste or hazelnut cake.
A menu supplemented by some fish dishes, from those of our streams to anchovies that came from Liguria along the ancient Via del Sale, to the cod in its typical variations.
At lunchtime, proposals of the day and salads will also be available for those who want a light meal or have very little time. Without forgetting the proposals of the cellar, with a card that favours the wine-growing heritage of Piedmont although, among the over 400 bottles of the ‘vault’, there are labels for all palates.
In addition, according to the tradition of Palazzo Righini, the chef remains available to organize lunches or dinners with menus customized according to specific customer requests.
The novelty also affects the elegant internal courtyard which, during the summer, will be transformed into the outdoor restaurant.
This new setting allows the Lounge Bar “Il Loggiato” (and it is the other novelty) to return to focus on its vocation: the offer of cafeteria, pastry and aperitifs, also offering wine and spirits tasting, while at lunch and dinner rich sandwiches and assorted salads remain available for a quick snack.
From the aperitifs to the chocolates and the selection of teas and infusions, from the dessert trolley for a delicious snack to the single-portion sweets to take home, from the cakes to order to the Easter doves and the handmade panettone for the Christmas holidays, the Lounge Bar fully enhances the its characteristic of a welcoming place for appointments, meetings and conversations.
The restaurant, together with the adjoining room, presents itself as the ideal “location” for organizing private parties, which can benefit from the rich offer of the cellar and the kitchen, and, in particular, from the pastry shop. The “New Trattoria Antiche Volte”. The official debut for lunch on January 7th, and then the start of a new life at Palazzo Righini.
