Raise your head – photo exhibition

The photographic exhibition “Raise your head”, created by Manuele Galante in collaboration with Progetto Emmaus, a social cooperative that since 1995 has been dealing with personal services in the territories of Alba and Bra, working online with profit organizations. It will be open until 22nd February. The photographs arise from the meeting between Manuele and the people who attend the activities organized in collaboration with the Social Services on the territory of Bra. Zanetto, the silly son of a merchant, has a twin brother, Tonino, who is gifted with great intelligence and charm. A series of coincidences and misunderstandings gives rise to an exchange between the two, which therefore find themselves at the centre of various vicissitudes. Goldonian masterpiece of freshness, dynamism and airiness, “The two Venetian twins” is a comedy full of misunderstandings, exchanges of person, expedients and cadences of the Commedia dell’Arte. A show of pure fun. As every year, the Bra Library gives all new-borns (in this case of 2019) a volume of fairy tales and nursery rhymes, in addition to the card of the Bilbioteca itself. The ceremony, which will see the participation of the municipal administration, is scheduled for the morning of Saturday 8 February in the premises of via Guala 45.

Azzurra Balena, a papier-mâché whale, was built with so much love, so much feeling, to the point of remaining imprinted on it, between the glue and the sheets, the dream of living the sea and its inhabitants. He longs for the sea and becomes a whale in the flesh and … baleen, which he finally succeeds with the help of some characters and a monk seal. She manages to become a whale thanks to the journey she will make by sea; a large and welcoming sea, able to forgive and punish, heat and repair, which always reserves new surprises. A long journey in the Tyrrhenian Sea, with surprise encounters, to conquer life. The show has won the national fairy-tale mountain tales in Abruzzo organized by the TFA-Teatro di Figura Abruzzese. Family friendly toy museum

22nd – 23rd FEBRUARY

Toy Museum, via Guala 45

Every last weekend of the month the Toy Museum offers family friendly activities with the contribution of the Crc Foundation. On Saturday morning, from 9.30 to 12 board games for families with the association Order of the Rock. On Sunday afternoon, entertainment and animation in the museum courtyard and theatrical visits (at 15.30 and at 17).
