The Massinelli and Soave families are the owners of the Casa Vinicola and during the years, they have built an important wine company, based on tradition; they produced high quality grapes which makes Bersano one of the most important wine centre of Piedmont.

Nebbiolo.

Winemaking
In steel vats .

Maturation
6 months into barrels, 30 months into Slavonia durmast barrels. Aging: 6 months into bottles.

Main features
Intense red colour with grenade shades; complex scent with berries, red fruits and balsamic notes; the taste is intense, harmonic and persistent.

Pairings
Game, roast meet, blue and seasoned cheeses.

Service temperature
16-18 °C (61-65 °F)

About… Barolo.

The Barolo is a red wine, recognised with the Appellation Denomination Origin (AOC or DOC in Italian)  produced in some municipalities of Piedmont. The original area of the grape types suitable for the Barolo DOC, recognised on 31st August 1933, includes the territories of the following municipalities: Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga D’Alba and part of La Morra, Monforte D’Alba, Roddi, Verduno, Cherasco, Diano d’Alba, Novello and Grinzane Cavour, all located in the Cuneo province.
