A family tavern located in the centre of the city, where you can share the passion for food.
For over ten years the Osteria, which takes its name from the bell tower of San Gregorio, in Cherasco, is synonym of tradition.
In 2003, Marco Falco, owner of the restaurant, chose to start a new adventure to discover the local products of his native land, Piedmont. Marco, who had already got experience working as a chef in many local restaurants, is assisted by his son Mattia, while his daughter-in law, Gloria manages the service.

La Torre is a typical “tavern”: The atmosphere is simple and cosy and it is very particular thanks to the brick walls, the menu offers typical local recipes, prepare using “Zero miles” raw material, brought from local producers or directly from the family vegetables garden.
Here you can taste not only the typical sliced beef with tuna sauce and the veal tongue, but also many delicious kinds of fresh pasta such as ravioli al plin and tajarin, meat or fish; in the menu you can find also special recipes as boiled or bourguignonne snails, which are a local specialty of Cherasco, the capital of the heliciculture in Piedmont. Sweets are the typical ones, you can taste the pudding, bonèt and the panna cotta. A blackboard outside the restaurant indicates the dish of the day and prices.
The wine list includes a careful selection of the best local, national and international labels. Many piedmontese wines proposed, from Barolo to Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbarera, Barbaresco and Roero, are ideal to be tasted with the chef’s recipes. Not to be missed also the sparkling wines, from Champagne to Moscato and the meditation wines such as the Passito di Pantelleria. The Osteria offers also wines by the glass, produced by local Cuneo farmer companies.
